Home for the Holidays 2013

Since our house is on the market, I decided to keep our Christmas decorations a little simpler than I have in the past. Usually I put up a second tree in the dining room, but this year I skipped that one. I'll be honest and admit that I wasn't really excited to decorate for Christmas at all this year. I guess I was just a little disappointed because when we listed our house back in June, I REALLY thought that we would be in a different house by Christmas. But, here we are, still with our house on the market 6 months later. As we were pulling out the decorations, though, I started getting more and more into the decorating. By the time I was finished, I was glad to have another Christmas in this house. We really do love our home, and it's always so warm and pretty at Christmas. Even with less stuff out, I love our Christmas house :)

In our entryway, I put a nativity set on the table, and I put some snowflakes and Christmas balls on this tree that is there year round.

I pretty much kept things the same in our living room. I love adding greenery around our normal accessories and calling it a day! :)
In the dining room, I put some Christmas balls and greenery in our year round centerpiece and added a nativity to the sideboard. I think it looks pretty in there even without the Christmas tree.
I got a tiny tree for the kitchen, and my mother-in-law gave us this sweet angel with our last name.
Aubrey and Jude both have little trees in their rooms. Poor Alaina doesn't have one yet. (#thirdchildproblems) Haha! Since she's only ever in her room to sleep, I don't think she minds too much ;) We'll get her a tree next year!

Aubrey was so proud of the way she put these two ornaments on her tree so that they say her first and middle name. I thought it was pretty clever of her.
I got her this little ballerina ornament when I was in Missouri, and she loves it!

My camera was on its last leg when I took pictures of Jude's tree, but here it is.
I got him this fire truck ornament in Missouri, and he likes his too :)
So, that's our house decorated for Christmas this year. It's fairly simple, but we're enjoying it!
