26 Weeks

So here we have a not-so-great blurry picture, but I don't feel like taking it again, so it will have to do! :) I do wish I had put some lipstick on or something. Haha!

Pregnancy Highlights
How Far Along: 26 weeks
Size of baby: She is about 14 inches and over 1.5 pounds -- about the size of an eggplant!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Well, I didn't walk on the treadmill 5 times last week like I had planned. I think I did it 3 or 4 times though, so that's definitely better than nothing! At my doctor's appointment today, my doctor said she was happy with my weight. I had gained very little weight the past month, so that was good since I had a big jump the month before. Haha!
Maternity Clothes: Definitely.
Movement: Still lots of movement! At my checkup, it took the doctor a minute to find Alaina's heartbeat, but I wasn't worried because she was moving all around. My doctor said she could see her move all the way across my stomach :)
Gender: It's a GIRL!!! Her name is Alaina Ruth :)
Sleep: No trouble sleeping, thank goodness!
What I miss: The only thin I'm missing is having as much energy as I do when I'm not pregnant. I haven't been crazy tired, but it'll be nice when I I feel like I can make it through the day without a nap again.
Cravings: Tonight I was really in the mood for a salad from Beagle Bagel. Random. There isn't one very close to us, but since David wasn't home, the kids and I loaded up and went to get one anyway.
Symptoms: Still going to the bathroom more than usual. And sorry if this is TMI, but I've been having awful pelvic bone pain when I stand up after sitting for a long period of time. I had the same thing when I was pregnant with Jude. It's fine after I walk around for a few minutes, but it just takes a while to get used to standing I guess? Ha!
Best Moment This Week: Passing my glucose test today! My doctor said I passed with "flying colors" and she said my hemoglobin was "perfect." Those are always nice words to hear! My blood pressure was also really good today. Alaina's heartbeat was going strong at 140-150 BPM. All in all, a great appointment!
What I Am Looking Forward To: We leave tomorrow for our little anniversary trip, and I am excited about that. We are going to miss Aubrey and Jude, but we know they'll be in good hands :)
