Baby #3 is a......

So we had our big ultrasound today! I was SO nervous going into it. I just really wanted to hear that the baby was healthy and see a strong heartbeat. Of course, I was also really excited to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl! ;) I'm so happy and thankful to say that we got a really good report on the baby! They said everything looks perfect, and the baby is measuring right on track. All the little organs were there and checked out perfectly. I'm just so in awe of what a miracle is taking place in my body right now. God is so amazing!

The baby was also super active. The lady doing the sonogram said she was even having a hard time getting measurements because the baby was moving around so much. That was incredibly reassuring to hear and see since I haven't been feeling much movement. I found out that I have another anterior placenta, just like I did with Jude. So that explains why I haven't felt much movement yet, and it makes me happy to know that the baby is very active even if I'm not feeling it yet :) Ironically, I felt the first big kick during the ultrasound. It even made the ultrasound wand move! Love that!

So, you might be wondering something else? ;) We told Aubrey the baby's gender when David got home from work, and we videoed her reaction. (By the way, she had JUST gotten up from a nap and was still a little groggy. And I don't know why I didn't take the time to fix her bedhead? Ha!)

That's right -- it's a GIRL, and we are SO THRILLED!!!! Aubrey had changed her mind since the last time I blogged about her wanting a brother, and she decided that she definitely wanted a sister. It was fun to be able to tell her news that I knew would make her so excited :)

Oh, and just because I think it's hilarious, I wanted to post another video. It's really only for posterity's sake, so if you aren't into goofy, dumb videos you might want to just skip this one ;) David and I were literally at the doctor's office for over two hours. We got SO bored waiting to see the doctor (and I never actually ended up seeing her -- she was off delivering babies, so I saw a nurse practitioner), so David wanted to take a video while we were in the room waiting. I was so scared we weren't allowed to take videos and that we would get in trouble, so I told him we could take a 5 second video. What follows is just weird and US. David wanted to make sure I put it out there that neither of us had been drinking! Haha!

So, we had a wonderful, happy day. We are so thankful for all three of our children, and we praise God for His abundant blessings!

Yay for another girl!

The videos had me laughing so hard. I'm sure Le-Poo will be gorgeous, even if her name is a bit...different. ;)

And how cute are you and David? Love that glimpse into your relationship.

OK, I just watched them again and had to add two more things:

#1 - I love that Aubrey pronounces Jude's name as two syllables.

#2 - I just noticed the big "no cell phones" sign behind your head, haha!!
