When I went to see
Sarah Denley at the hospital last week, among other things, we talked about whether our kids look like each other. That lead me to come home and look at pictures of Aubrey from when she was about Jude's age. The first thing I noticed was that the quality of the pictures is so much worse. It made me wish that we had invested in a nicer camera sooner. Oh well -- no point in being too sad about that now. The second thing I noticed was that, while I do think that Aubrey and Jude look similar, they definitely have some differences. So, I thought it would be fun to do a little comparison (Aubrey is on the left, and Jude is on the right):
Another thing that I noticed that kind of surprises me is that I think that Aubrey had more hair at this age than Jude does. People used to comment that Aubrey was "bald as a bowling ball" and we have never gotten that comment with Jude. If I've said it once, I've said it a million times, but I LOVE bald babies, so I could care less whether my kids' heads remind some people of bowling balls. Haha! :) So, do you think Aubrey and Jude look alike or no?

I do think Aubrey and Jude look so much alike, but Aubrey just has a "girly-er" look to her...something about her eyes just looks girly :)
but they are both just as precious as can be!
They look like siblings for sure! I cannot wait to see how they favor each other as they get older - but not too fast. Mommies do not want their babies to grow too fast.
The only thing I can pinpoint is that their face shape is different...and something in the eyes. I see what you mean--they're alike but different! :) Precious babies.
They definitely look similar, but I also see the difference in their face shape. I love the last picture comparison -- they have the same big, beautiful, open-mouth smile!
I've said this before... but I can't believe how similar they look! Love the last set of pictures!!
When did Aubrey really get hair? Caroline is still pretty bald. She is growing hair in the back but not really any on top. I'm ready to put a bow in her hair!
