Conversation with Aubrey

This is a funny conversation that took place in the car on the way home from church today. We were asking Aubrey about her time in the nursery, and who was there, and what she had learned, etc. She told us that several of the kids in her room were "cryin and cryin'." I knew this was the case because I had walked by Aubrey's room after I went to feed Jude and heard them. This is the conversation we had about that:

Aubrey: "Why was everybody cryin', Mommy?"

Me: "I think they just wanted their Mommies, Baby."

Aubrey: "Why, Mommy?"

Me: "Because they missed them."

Aubrey: "Why, Mommy?"

Me: "Well, I guess it's because they just love their Mommies."

Aubrey: "Why, Mommy?"

Me: "Because their Mommies are sweet."

Aubrey: "No."

Me: "Well, why don't you just ask your Daddy then."

Aubrey: "Why was everybody cryin', Daddy?"

David: "Because they're just immature little kids, Aubrey."

Aubrey: "Ok, Daddy."

THE END

Oh goodness, I need to enjoy these days where she does not ask me questions! Aubrey sure is cute! Evie was crying and crying in the nursery yesterday - so sad!
