Aubrey's Christmas

We aren't getting Aubrey a ton of stuff for Christmas. She has plenty of toys already, and I don't want to buy her stuff just for the sake of buying something. She is getting some clothes since she is outgrowing all her 12 month outfits! I want to get her a chair because she loves sitting in chairs or on the couch. I think she would enjoy a child sized chair. I haven't really found one I like yet, so who knows if that will actually happen though. We'll see soon.

When I was shopping on Saturday, I did buy her these:Oh my goodness, are they cute or what?? I have to say that I am not a Converse girl myself. I'm more of a high heels/boots/ballet flats type, but I think everything is cuter in a mini size including Chuck Taylors :o) Besides, Aubrey is so stylish she can pull off any look. Ha! I debated on whether to get the high-tops or low-tops. I thought the low-tops would be easier to get on and off, but the salesman convinced me to go with the high-tops. It was funny; he was this young guy, and I didn't think he would have an opinion on my baby's shoes, but he really pushed hard for the high-tops! I showed them to David, and he didn't seem to think they are as cute as I do, but I think he'll come around when he sees them on her.

I think Aubrey will be more than satisfied with clothes, a pair of shoes, and a chair for Christmas. What more could a girl want? Maybe some bows....

My daughter has those same shoes and they are adorable on! Look into the pottery barn chairs. They are expensive but I found one at a resale kids shop for $15 and my mom made a cover for it. Ive been reading (blog stalking) for awhile and I am glad to hear that the moving is going well. merry Christmas

I agree with Pottery Barn. My SIL found one on Ebay and bought a new cover from PB. It's so cute and our 6 year old niece still sits in it everyday to read and watch TV.

I'd look at the chairs at Target b/f you got the PB route. But, that's me. I love an ebay deal but if you want her to be sitting in it on Christmas morning that's not gonna happen.

I got AP a pair of those converses (I AM a converse girl!). Consignment. Size five. They'll fit when she's twenty seven.

no to the expensive chairs! they are probably heavy-- she really needs a chair she can carry around. (think thanksgiving) nothing is better than portable seatage.
