Thankfulness

Today, and everyday, I'm thankful for a husband who loves me so selflessly and who I am honored to spend the rest of my life with, two children who have taught me what it means to love someone enough to be willing to die for them, new life growing inside of me, a wonderful and supportive family, friends who "get me" and who offer such encouragement daily, freedom to worship without fear, and being able to go to bed knowing we have a roof over our heads, plenty of food to eat, and more than enough clothes to wear.

I'm thankful for all of that, but mostly, I'm thankful for Christ and the promise of eternity with Him. Without the hope of heaven, all of the above would be meaningless.
