Saturday in St. Louis

Last Saturday, we got to spend the day in St. Louis with the Herringtons. We had so much fun! Our first stop was the St. Louis Zoo. Aubrey LOVED IT. She hasn't stopped talking about it yet. She will tell me from time to time that she can't wait to go back to the zoo and see some more animals. She doesn't understand that we can't just pop back over to St. Louis anytime. Ha! Guess she'll have to settle for the Jackson Zoo ;) Aubrey saw lots of animals that were very impressive:Not all of the animals she loved so much were actually real animals :)And it wasn't just the animals that impressed our girl at the zoo:She and David were waving at the elephants in this picture. Jude was there too! ;)I loved seeing Aubrey enjoy the zoo so much, and we had a great time just being together.After spending hours at the zoo, we all felt like this:.... so we went back to the hotel for some downtime. That evening, we went to see the St. Louis Arch. It was so pretty!We hung out at this beautiful park until dark, and the kids (and dads! ;) had a blast running around. These two little guys hung out in their strollers for the most part. We did let Jude out to run around after a little while, and he had a blast :) We loved being somewhere new and just having a lot of family time. Maybe we'll get brave and go on little weekend trips more often. Maybe ;)
