Master of...

Sarah Denley tagged me for this award. I think these things are so fun to read, but I always have the hardest time doing them and think my answers are so boring. Oh well. I also have to say that I don't consider myself to be a master of anything. It's just a cute title :)

Here are the rules for the award:
1. List 6 things you are a master in.
2. Pass it on to 6 bloggers you think are masters at friendship and make blogging awesome

1.) Procrastination. I really and truly wait until the last minute to do everything. Exhibit A: I have Book Club on Tuesday, and it's Sunday night and I still haven't started the book. Oops. I guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow.

2.) Stressing out. I pray about this and I have gotten better, but I really do get stressed about the dumbest things. And when I'm stressed, I tend to talk about how stressed I am and make the people around me (poor David!) stressed too. I'm so glad God gave me such a laid back guy. We balance each other out well :)

3.) Reading people. I can usually see right through the "nice answers" that people give. David tends to take people at face value, but I can usually tell what they really mean even when they're not saying it. On the positive side, I can tell when people are being really sincere, and so I usually end up with great, true friends. If there is one thing I can't stand, it's a back stabber. One quality I value the most in family and friends is loyalty.

4.) Getting Aubrey to eat. Sometimes she goes through these annoying picky stages. I can usually always distract her enough to get her to eat what I consider a satisfactory amount of food. :)

5.) Bargain shopping. I love to look for a good deal. We really don't have anything in our house that was very expensive, and I don't buy crazy expensive clothes for any of us. I think it's more fun and satisfying to find something at a discount store or on sale and make it look cute than it is to pay full price. Also, I think it takes more thought (and dare I say talent?) to make your house look nice on a budget. Anyone can go into a showroom to buy furniture and then put it in their house and have it look good.

6.) Sneaking bows into Aubrey's hair. She has recently decided that she wants to pick out her own bows (at 19 months old!) and she always picks out tiny bows that don't match. I let her wear them, and then I sneak a bigger one that matches into her hair later. Haha. Sneaky, sneaky. Let's hope I can keep doing this :)

So, there you go! I'm SO talented ;) If you're reading this, and you want to do it, you're tagged!

are you seriously going to read the WHOLE book in two days?? I consider myself an avid reader and AP is so chill, but at this point in my life, I'd be buying the devil his hockey sticks before I read an entire book in one day!

Oh, also, here is what I think you are a master of...

1. not taking things (accidents, illnesses, ect.) too seriously
2. looking super cute pregnant
3. challenging your friends to really think about their decisions (wink)
4. fixing curly hair- even though you've never had any experience with it before!
5. DIYing your house
6. analyzing blogs with your BFF's!

I definitely agree with what you said in number 5. It is MUCH more of an accomplishment to make your home into your own kingdom on a budget. :)
