Show Us Your Life -- Christmas Trees

I decided that since we won't be putting up Christmas decorations this year because we are in the process of moving, I would participate in Kelly's Show us your Christmas Trees so I could look at my past Christmas tree. I'll really miss the tree this year, but it's probably for the best. I was thinking I was going to have to put a fence around it anyway to keep my super busy 14 month old from pulling it over on herself! ;o) Here is our tree from 2 years ago -- our first year to decorate for Christmas together. (The year before we had just gotten home from our honeymoon a couple of days before Christmas, so we didn't get to decorate.)Last Christmas, Aubrey was a high-maintenance 3 month old, so we didn't get around to taking pictures of the tree. It's just amazing that we got the thing up :o) But it looked pretty much the same as it did the year before.

Next year in our new house, I'm hoping to have two trees. I've always wanted to have the "pretty" tree and also a more fun kids' tree with cutesy ornaments and colored lights. We could use it for all the miscellaneous ornaments that we've collected that I love, but that just don't go on our tree with the match-y ornaments.

Thanks for stopping by to see my tree! I can't wait to look at your Christmas trees to hopefully get my Christmas tree fill. Merry Christmas! :o)

You're tree is SO pretty! I was telling Peyton about how you said I seemed like it'd bother me not being on a schedule (you know, kinda bragging about how flexible I was?) and he goes "Well, you've always liked making schedules for yourself, but you've never been very good at going by them". Isn't he so sweet?
