It's official!

We closed on our new house today, as planned! However, the rain really messed up the former owners' moving schedule. They weren't able to get all their stuff out by the closing. We told them that was ok, and we would go ahead and close as planned and they could keep moving their stuff out today. They promised us they would be completely out by 6 tomorrow morning. We went over there tonight, and I don't see how they are going to get all their stuff out by in the morning, but they said they were going to work through the night if they had to. They were really sweet and said they were so happy that a little family had bought their house. They built the house and raised their kids there, so I'm sure it's very sentimental. It was so funny -- we took my parents over to the house tonight because they hadn't seen it yet, and my mom went to highschool with the lady who sold us the house! Small world.

I hope the rain moves out by tomorrow so we can start moving our stuff in! Gotta love this crazy December weather. A couple of days ago there was snow on the ground and it was FREEZING and today it's a muggy 75 degrees and we're under a tornado watch! Lovely.

Since we officially own the house now, I wanted to post a picture! Here is the outside of our new house! :o)
