So I took Aubrey back to the doctor today to have her ears re-checked. This is honestly the fifth time we've been to the doctor in a week and a half! Poor Aubrey is traumatized for life now I think. As soon as we get into our doctor's waiting area she starts screaming and clinging to me. Before we're even in a room or see the doctor! Poor little thing... I hate that she's so scared of the doctor now. I can't blame her though, considering 3 out of the last 5 trips she's gotten a shot. :(
Anyway, want to know the verdict on her ears?? They didn't pass. :( Her doctor said they still have lots of fluid even after antibiotics and 3 shots. That means a trip to the ENT. Which she said will probably mean tubes. I hate this for Aubrey, but if tubes will fix this problem I'm ready to get them and get it over with. We have an appointment with an ENT on Tuesday. In the meantime, we're starting another antibiotic so her ears don't get any worse. Her doctor said they don't look too bad right now, so hopefully they aren't hurting her! She's actually been in a really good mood considering she's had an ear infection for almost 2 weeks now! Knowing that makes me even more impressed with her behavior last weekend when we were traveling. I'll keep you posted on the tube situation.

Poor Aubrey! I hope everything goes smoothly with the ENT. I know you'll be glad to have it over with!
That's a lot to deal with for a little one. So sad that she gets nervous at the doctor. I hope you can get some answers on Tuesday.
