Good Times!

Well, we've had a very nice week. I hope yall had a good week as well :o) Among other things, we got to go strolling in the park, have lunch with a church friend, and work on trying to get back on a schedule. Aubrey is so crazy sometimes... she has been so inconsistent lately. A couple of days this week she woke up at 8:45 (AMAZING!) and then the next day it was 6:45 (NOT so amazing!). Do you know what a big difference two hours makes?? That two hours is the difference between one nap a day and two naps, folks. If she wants to start sleeping later and only taking one long afternoon nap, that is fine with me! Haha. So yes, Aubrey is crazy inconsistent, but she's as cute as ever, and we love her anyway ;o)

One of the highlights of my week was getting to have a Mom's Night Out with my sweet friend, Ashley. The last time the two of us went out with no babies was before Ashley's baby, Evy, was even born! That means it was about 7 months ago! We decided we can't wait another 7 months before doing this again :o) We got to have dinner and great conversation, and then we went to Easely Amused. This was my first time to go, and it was so much fun! I was pretty nervous about how my painting would turn out because I CANNOT paint. I've seen lots of cute paintings that people have done at Easely Amused, and they all looked good, but if someone could mess up a painting, believe me, it would be yours truly!

The instructor at Easely Amused literally walks you through the painting step by step though, so mine actually turned out pretty cute! Here's the work in progress.

Hard at work. Look at that focus!

So proud of our masterpieces!

Isn't this painting super cute?? I can't wait to find a home for it in our house. I'll show you where it ends up when we get it hung. They have tons of adorable paintings that you can do at Easely Amused, so I definitely want to go back! It was such a fun night! I think every mom needs a night out every once in a while, and I'm so glad to have such a sweet, fun friend to get out with :o)

By the way, excuse the quality of these photos. I didn't take our new camera. I decided to just throw our old one in my purse since it's so much smaller. You can really tell a difference in the quality of the pictures though (in my opinion). Ahh, I love my new camera! :o)

Well, David just got home from work, so that means our weekend has officially begun! Yay! I'm looking forward to a good weekend to top off a fun week!
