This and That

Hey yall! Just wanted to check in. We've been staying busy around here. I'm the assistant director for our church's Arts and Sports Camp (aka Vacation Bible School) this year. I've never done anything like this before, so it's been interesting. My friend Rebekkah is the director, and she's really been doing pretty much everything. I'm just trying to help her any way I can. It should be a fun week! I just hope Miss Aubrey cooperates that week. She'll be in the nursery for about 3 1/2 hours every day for 5 days. For a baby who is used to being home, that could be bad. I have high hopes that she'll do great though :o)

Aubrey and I had lunch with Ashley and Evy today. We had so much fun seeing them! Because we were sick and they were out of town, it had been about a month since we had seen them. Evy has gotten so big and precious! When we go out together with the babies we always get lots of attention. Everyone has to stop and admire our pretty girls.

I'm thinking I want to join a pool this summer. Aubrey has lots of cute bathing suits I want to use ;o) Plus, I figure it would give us something fun to do. If she likes the water that is. Does anyone know a good pool to join around here? I'm thinking I might join the YMCA because I don't want to sign a contract -- I just want to join for the summer. I don't know if it would be super crowded though. We'll see.

Aubrey has started sleeping on her tummy. We still put her on her back, but she's always on her tummy when she wakes up. It's funny because she's been able to roll over for months now, but she never rolled over at night until about a week ago. Ever since then she's rolled onto her tummy literally every time she sleeps, night and day. It takes some getting used to to see her on her tummy when I go in to get her. David think she'll be crawling soon now that she's spending more time on her tummy. I don't know if Mommy is ready for that! :/

I was so glad that Kris won American Idol last night. I was not a big Adam fan. He seems like a nice guy, but all of that shrieking got to me after a while. I haven't been as into American Idol this season as I have been in the past, so I was pretty surprised by how excited I was when Kris won. I think I just got caught up in the moment. Haha.
