The walls are dark eggplant purple. I'm partial to dark, cozy colors. I really love all of the pillows on the bed. They're kind of random and mismatched, but they all work, I think.
A full-length mirror is a must in a guest bedroom, don't you think?? ;o)
The furniture was old furniture that I already had before we got married. It didn't match and I wasn't overly fond of it, so I painted it cream and tea stained it. I was happy with the way it turned out!
I hope you've enjoyed the tour of my (former) guest bedroom! You'll be seeing it again when it comes time to tour children's rooms! :o) I can't wait to tour your guest bedrooms. Thanks for stopping by! I love comments, so please let me know you stopped by so I can be sure to check out your guest bedroom too!

Really cute room - I can't wait to see when it's "nursery" week what it looks like now!

I absolutely LOVE the wall color! Beautiful job, I can't wait to see it as a nursery!
Love that color!! Is it Carob Chip from Pittsburgh Paint? It looks like my favorite office in a previous post (the kitchen week) if you go look at my site. LOVE it!
I love the dark colors with the contrasting white. I hope you didn't have to paint over those walls for your nursery- I can't imagine how many coats that took!
i love the color on the wall. it is so dramatic.
I love the wall color !!
Ooooooh, I love the purple!

Beautiful room, love the furniture!
~WOW! I LOVE the rich wall color. ~Beautifully done!
I love the purple! I would have never thought of using that color of purple!
Super cute :o) I need a full-length mirror....and I need to ask you about painting furniture...okay, we officially have a million things to talk about!
What a beautiful room! That deep dramatic wall color is just gorgeous! :-) thanks for having us!
WOW, you are not afraid of color and I LOVE it! When we moved in I painted EVERY room a beige color because I honestly thought we would only be here a year max and it would make it easier to sell the house. Here we are FOUR years later! ha. I'm loving this "tour of homes" because I"m getting so many great ideas. Thanks for sharing!!
Love the purple! I was just thinking the same thing about losing the guest room when you have a baby. Brody has his room so the guest room has managed to become guest room, work out room, office, painting room, dog bed....you name it, I do it in here! Its crazy how much your life changes after a baby! But they are so worth it arent they!
I love the deep purple and the tea stained furnature looks awesome!
Love it! I have my bed in a corner like that too and it's just so different.
