These pictures are a little late, but we've been busy! For Halloween we took Aubrey to our church's Fall Festival. Her daddy dressed her in a gi (karate uniform) and he wore his too so they were twins! I must admit, I wasn't too keen on the idea of my little girl wearing a gi for her first Halloween. I would have preferred something more cute and girlie, but I have to say she looked pretty cute. Don't you agree?
David even wore his brown belt even though he's a black belt. Number one reason was because he had to match Aubrey! Secondly, he said if he wore his black belt, he wouldn't be dressed up. Haha, he's so funny :o)
Saturday we left to go to Birmingham for the weekend. One of David's friends had gotten married and was having a wedding reception on Sunday. I was very nervous about traveling with a baby for the first time. She did great though! I fed her right before we left on the way there and on the way back, and she slept just about the whole way both times. It's only about 3 1/2 hours to Birmingham, so she was just getting hungry again by the time we reached our destination. Aunt Joy and Uncle Chris even came from Huntsville to see Aubrey so that was fun! All in all, it was a great weekend, and it encouraged me that we really can manage trips with a baby! I don't think I would attempt anything farther than Birmingham anytime soon though.

So that's what we've been up to lately. We're also really enjoying Aubrey's precious smiles. Hopefully soon we will post a video of a precious little grin! :)
