I'm sure everyone who reads this blog knows by now that Aubrey is here! She was born on the 12th at 9:58 am. She weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 19 and 1/2 inches long. She is absolutely precious. We're loving having her here. Parenthood is definitely not without challenges. We're a little sleep deprived. Nursing has been my biggest challenge by far. Several times I have come very close to saying, "I quit!" Thankfully, I have a wonderful support system. David has been wonderful and so encouraging. So we're still hanging in there with that. Hopefully we'll turn a corner soon and things will get easier. If you think about it, please pray that it will work out. I really want to be able to nurse, but I also want to be sure Aubrey is getting enough food and is healthy.
I'm going to type out the whole birth story and post it, but I haven't gotten a chance to do it yet. Motherhood is a full-time job! Hopefully I'll be able to do that soon! We will also post some pictures.
Just wanted to give a quick update. Thank you for all of your congratulations, prayers, and encouragement. It all means so much to us.

Aubrey is so precious! We all pray for yall daily. The nursing will come! Hang in there. We love all of you!
She's a doll -- and you're doing great with the nursing! Amen to the "full-time job" comment. You don't even get the holdiays off! :)
