David is probably going to cringe when he reads this, but I decided to give Twitter a try. I've had a Twitter account for a while, but I only signed up so I could follow MckMama when Stellan was really sick. I cannot believe I just admitted that -- somebody needs to get a life, huh ;o) Anyway, I didn't even remember what my password was and I had never used it. But tonight I just randomly decided to see what all the fuss is about. Honestly though, I can't for the life of me figure it out. What is the point? I mean, I know you just "tweet" about what you're doing, but do you communicate with people via Twitter? I'm asking in all seriousness. Can someone explain Twitter to me in a nutshell?? Thanks!

PS - the reason I said David was probably going to cringe is because he's probably going to think that the LAST thing I need is something else to do on the internet. Haha. Don't worry, I can't see myself really getting into Twitter :o)

Let me know if you find out anything about Twitter. I do not know anything about it!

No cringe. I actually groaned loudly.

Twitter. I can't believe it. This from the woman who didn't really want to start a blog and never thought she'd get into that. Now I guess I'll have to get a Twitter account too so I'll know what my wife is doing.

(I love our life, but is it really that interesting?)

I'll have you know, David, I haven't tweeted a single thing all day. I said I wasn't going to really get into it, I'm just curious. Frankly, I'm pretty unimpressed so far.

P.S. David--yes that interesting. More so even than Big Mac, Nuggey, Small Fry, and MckMuffin. However, you really don't produce the kind of drama Prince Charming does. Ha!

my understanding is that it is kinda a good place for networking, and/or following and keeping up with people who have similar interests to you. For example, i follow a lot of wedding events planning twitterers, as well as bakeries, cooks, etc. You can often get some really good links via other's tweets. or just find out interesting and random stuff. it has taken me a while to like it even a little bit. but more on board than i was.
