Show Us Your Life -- Wedding Reception and Honeymoon

I haven't been participating in Kelly's Tours lately... I guess I've been slacking :o) But since I kind of have the travel bug right now, I thought I would reminisce about our honeymoon! But first, here are the reception pictures.

Now for the honeymoon! We got married in December, because I LOVE Christmas and had always wanted a wintery, Christmas wedding. I wanted the "winter wonderland" theme to continue to our honeymoon. Since we live in the South, we never have white Christmases, so I thought it would be so fun to go somewhere snowy and beautiful. That's why we decided to go to Whistler, British Columbia!! It was awesome!

We flew into Vancouver and spent a couple of nights there. It was great because we got the big city experience before heading to beautiful, secluded Whistler. While in Vancouver, we went on a dinner cruise which was so much fun and so beautiful. We also got to see a stage production of "Beauty and the Beast" which was fabulous!

We got to Whistler by bus since there is no airport in there. On the way up the mountain to get there, the bus broke down. They sent vans to pick us up though, so it was no big deal! That was the worst thing that happened, so I think we were very blessed! We stayed at the Four Seasons, and let me just say that it was amazing! So worth it! I may never get to stay in another Four Seasons, but I'm so glad we did for our Honeymoon.

I did not want to ski on my Honeymoon -- no broken bones, please ;o) So we did lots of other fun winter activities like dog sledding and a horse drawn sleigh ride!

Our Honeymoon was such a wonderful trip! It was so fun to be in such an enchanted place at Christmas time. There were Christmas lights in the trees and Christmas trees everywhere -- it was beautiful! :o)
