Fun Times in Huntsville

We're back from our weekend in Huntsville with the Hodges. We had a great time! Baby Caroline is just precious. She's such a sweet, happy baby. We rarely heard her cry while we were there. Kind of different from my high-maintenance girl! Haha. No, she's really not high-maintenance now, just when she was Caroline's age ;o) Aubrey was fantastic in the car on the way there and back. She slept and played. She was great while we were there too. During the day that is. We had some rough nights. She just didn't sleep well in her pack-n-play. The first night, David and I didn't get to sleep until 3 AM, and that was only after David put her in her carseat and swung her back and forth until she fell asleep. She slept in her carseat the rest of the night. The second night was better. Aubrey was just really restless and would cry out in the night every so often. It's ok though, she slept better last night at home!

We had a little photo shoot with the babies. It was interesting to say the least. Aubrey didn't seem to even notice Caroline at first, but then she saw her and started grabbing her hair, ear, bow, clothes... poor Caroline! We got some really funny ones along with some cute ones. You can see the progression.

Aubrey hasn't really noticed Caroline yet.

"Oooh, what's that? I have to touch."

"Mom keeps putting my hand down while I'm trying to explore. I'll try to sneak it back up and see if she notices."

After about 200 trys, we finally got some good ones of the pretty girls!

While we were there we got to have lunch with some of David's college friends and I got to have coffee with my friend Rebecca. It was so fun, and Aubrey was a trooper during all of this running around and being off of her schedule. Joy and Chris were so sweet to host us, and it was just a really fun weekend.
