As Carrie said, Aubrey turned 9 months yesterday. (According to our scale) she weighs 18 lbs 6 oz and is 27.5 inches. Both of these are right at 50 percentile for girls. She has been tracking about 65 or 70th percentile, but seems to have slowed down on the growth. This was a little surprising to me because she seems so much bigger. Maybe it's because she acts so much older and more aware and stuff.
And I think Aubrey has definitely started crawling. Last night she put one hand in front of the other and shuffled her knees. It's only once, but it's a start. I like that she's getting mobile. We have a big time playing on the floor. We have all kinds of brightly colored, noise-making toys for her. And her favorite toy of all time is the lid off of Carrie's shoebox. We've left it in her room to store the toys in, but Aubrey will dump all the toys out and play with it every time. She likes to hit it.

That's so funny about the shoe box top! If she's like her mom on her first birthday, she'll like the bows and wrapping better than the gift inside!
