Also, thanks for the comments about blood pressure issues. It helps me SO MUCH just to know I'm not alone. Sometimes I feel like an 87 year old with my blood pressure pill, and I wonder if my body will ever go back to normal or if I'll have to take this medicine forever. (That's so dramatic -- totally the hormones talking. Ha!) It's just encouraging to be reminded that this is something a lot of [young] women deal with and get over. I've really been trying not to obsess over my blood pressure. It's so easy to let myself get so anxious about it and want to check it constantly, but that is so counterproductive. Since I've started checking it less and not stressing over it as much, it's been better. I would appreciate any continued prayers that that resolves quickly! :)
I REALLY want to post Alaina's birth story while it's still fresh, but I just haven't had time to type it out. I spend about 98% of my time holding and feeding Alaina these days, so it just hasn't been on the top of my priority list. You might remember from the past two that my birth stories are long and detailed. Haha! I'm planning to get that done in the next few days. I don't want to forget any of it!
Finally, so many people have asked us who we think Alaina looks like. I honestly don't know! I'm so terrible at telling who babies look like anyway unless it's extremely obvious. I think all of our babies look similar but also have their own look. So, what do you think?? (Click on the picture to enlarge.)

Oh I definitely woke up my babies every 3 hours to eat! It's great for their weight gain and to get your supply up. Don't feel crazy -- I didn't!
I loved looking at the three newborn pictures side by side! I can REALLY recognize Aubrey and Jude's faces even as newborns. Looks like Alaina already has a bit of that adorable curly hair! I think she looks a lot like Aubrey.
I love the look of your blog. We did things on even years too. 98, 00, 02, 04! And the crappy medical stuff was on odd years!
And yes, I totally woke my babies up every 3 hours if they were sleeping...and with my third I was more lenient on where I'd let her sleep. She hated laying flat so sleeping in my arms or her papasan chair was popular. Of course, being the third she was used to being in motion so a car ride, stroller ride etc were great ways to get my difficult sleeper asleep!
I was so upset being on medicine after Avery was born, and with BP also being hereditary, I was sure I was on it for good. I came off just to get pregnant again! But, I had just accepted that it was something I needed to do to take care of myself. I hadn't been taking mine at home this week, which is terrible, but today at the doctor it was so-so. She was pleased though, so that's all that matters. I was of course a bundle of nerves though. Continuing to pray for good numbers and rest for you!
